Why pay to cast a vote?
Most surveys are actually ongoing projects.
Conversely, most projects also need surveys to find the best way to implement them in the interest of the public.
And rarely is ever a time that a survey was able to raise awareness of a crowdfunding campaign, whether it is for research or for the community as a whole.
By combining surveys with crowdfunding, we solve this problem. Here are the added advantages:
Less Bogus Votes
People lie with their mouths, and tell the truth with their wallets. So you can tell what they like by looking at the entities they spend money on.
Because every vote is backed with hard-earned money, we are less likely to have bogus results (like vote repetition), maintaining the integrity of the survey.
Being More Involved
By letting people put their money where their vote is, the high votes are more likely to be implemented, depending on the type of project, because public capital is attached.
The overall amount also dictates the future pricing of a novel idea or service.
Likewise, any strategy can be ranked order of the raised amounts, from highest to lowest, with the lowest strategy still receiving attention and possible implementation.
Unsponsored Truth
Because you already paid for the survey's logistics & expenses, there is a lesser chance of the survey data being bought by other companies. There is no room for bribery when there are no sponsors involved.
Also, when there are no companies involved, there is no bias and no one controlling the results of the survey
-- a true & rare form of authenticity in a world run by ads & sponsors.
